Hey guys! What’s that? Summer vacation has just begun, and you have no list of upcoming k-dramas on Netflix to binge-watch? Well, that is just unacceptable. No vacation is complete without watching some really great k-dramas in you PJ’s and drinking some cool lemonade. K-dramas are the definition of escapism. I mean who wouldn’t want to be dragged away from reality into the world of k-dramas for a while? K-dramas are just the way to do that. They have a wide variety of genres for you to get lost in. Ranging from cheesy meet-cute utopias to “you could die any moment” dystopias. Come on into the world of k-dramas and experience the world of fiction at its finest. And a great place to watch that is Netflix. Netflix is a great streaming service that puts out tens of new k-dramas every year for us avid drama lovers to enjoy and this year it has announced 25. So here is a list of the top 5 upcoming k-dramas on Netflix for you to chill with.

1) The Sound of Magic


This exciting new k-drama is bound to stop you in your
tracks. “The Sound of Magic” follows the life of Yoon Ah Yi, a teenager who was abandoned by her parents due to debt. We see her as she struggles to make ends meet so that she could support her sister. Despite how busy she is with her part-time job and her studies; Yoon Ah Yi is still one of the top students at the school. She shares her dream of becoming old enough to have a steady job to a magician and the magic commences from there. Originally named Annarasumanara, this upcoming psychological drama is based on the wildly popular webcomic by Ha Il-Kwon.

2) Money Heist



The cult-hit and fan-favourite, Money Heist was bound to be remade someday. Why not that be in the magical land of South Korea. We are very sure that this version of money heist is destined to reach the heights of success the original did. It also stars Park Hae-Soo of the squid game fame, in the role of the witty professor. So, we know this show will have some great acting in it.

3) Tomorrow



This fantasy fiction follows the life of Choi Joon Woong who despite of his prestigious background, just can’t seem to find a job. His life changes when he meets two death angels, Gu Ryeon and Im Ryoog Gu, who work for a crisis management team that tries to stop people from committing suicide. This ridiculous idea made into tv show may fare out to be one of the best k-dramas you’ve ever seen.

4) Our Blues


Next comes, “Our Blues” a light-hearted utopia about finding love. Life on the island of Jeju is the perfect escape for those fleeing from city life, and it’s also the perfect home for those unlucky in love to find their soul mates. With such a cute story line and Jeju Island (Squid game fans, assemble) this k-drama is bound to be a new fan-favourite.

5) Green Mother's Club

This series starring Lee Yo Won is a hear-touching series which a lot of people can relate to. If you like series which give you a comforting vibe then this is it.

Vikram – The Indian MCU We Were Waiting For? Ahhh! Yes. Vikram! Now, this is a blog I’ve been looking forward to writing since I watched this masterpiece of a film. Honestly, I was blown away. I must admit, I walked into the theatre expecting a mediocre action film where guns did most of the storytelling. But what I got was so much more than that.
