Why Taylor Swift's Folklore Album is more tempting than Ice cream on a hot day!

What is Folklore?

Folklore is a masterpiece created by Taylor Swift. This is her eighth studio album. This has been a sweet surprise to all my Swifties out there. It was dropped on July 24 2020. Seriously it's a delight during these hard times. It was written and recorded while Swift was in isolation during the pandemic. It's an Indie pop album featuring American Indie folk band Bon Iver and producers Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff. There are 16 tracks and one surprise track called Lakes. It has excellent poetic lyrics.

Why is Folklore the G.O.A.T ?

1) Within one day of the release, Swift sold 1.3 million copies of the album.

2) She broke the record of the biggest first-day album streams for a female artist, with 80.6 million total streams.

3) Swift became the first-ever artist to open at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 in the same week.

4) In US the album sold 846000 copies, the pop star has become the first artist in US chart history to have seven albums sell more than 500,000 copies in a single week. She is also the first female artist to have seven albums debut at No.1.

5) Folklore became the best-selling record of the year after just one week.

You know what the best part about it is? It's like listening to a story and you feel like you are getting to know the singer personally. You know the feeling you get when you question all your choices and wonder what's coming and just want to relax, well this album is perfect for this.
