What is Folklore? Folklore is a masterpiece created by Taylor Swift. This is her eighth studio album. This has been a sweet surprise to all my Swifties out there. It was dropped on July 24 2020. Seriously it's a delight during these hard times. It was written and recorded while Swift was in isolation during the pandemic. It's an Indie pop album featuring American Indie folk band Bon Iver and producers Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff. There are 16 tracks and one surprise track called Lakes. It has excellent poetic lyrics. Why is Folklore the G.O.A.T ? 1) Within one day of the release, Swift sold 1.3 million copies of the album. 2) She broke the record of the biggest first-day album streams for a female artist, with 80.6 million total streams. 3) Swift became the first-ever artist to open at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 in the same week. 4) In US the album sold 846000 copies, the pop star has become the first artist in US chart history to have seven albums sell
