Thanksgiving is celebrated as a national holiday on various dates in the western part of the world. The day starts with thanks, sacrifices and blessing of the harvest and of the foregoing year. The outstretched meaning of thanksgiving is the act of giving thanks. Families come together chat about what’s going on in their lives, eat delicious feast and have tremendous, amazing and great parties. There are favorites for every season. What’s going on this thanksgiving season? Let’s see.

FAVORITES OF THANKSGIVING

FOOD

When thanksgiving occurs the first thing that comes to our mind is the giant turkey. Turkey is loaded with spices and aroma. The aroma of spices fills the house. Juiciness in the turkey is the best thing ever. Thanksgiving is also known as turkey day. If there is no turkey, there is no thanksgiving.

SONG

“Thanksgiving Song” - was sung by Mary Chapin Carpenter. This song is such a work of art. Every tune hits the ear just right. I have never heard such a melodious song like this. The lyrics were written in such a beautiful way. Every word and every chorus made ,reminds me of thanksgiving. It’s extremely perilous to write such an admirable song. This was written in 2008. I really appreciate the artist for blessing us with such a heavenly song.

FASHION


This fit looks stunning on the model. This is perfect wear for thanksgiving. The turtleneck sweater looks so adorable. This is so in trend right now. This is the right time to show your fashionable side. Time to look chic!!!

MOVIE

Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow was released in the year 2015. It’s the best movie to watch during thanksgiving. It’s a family story celebrating thanksgiving in their Aunt Cly’s home. While travelling they face additional obstacles. I would really like to recommend this to you guys. This movie is out of the world.

THANKSGIVING SPECIAL EPISODE


Every tv show or sitcom needs to have a thanksgiving special episode. Such a festival time must be celebrated with an episode specially dedicated to it. It is tradition for families to gather and turn on the tv to watch the thanksgiving special of their favorite tv show. Today, our pick for the best thanksgiving episode is……… “The One with All the Thanksgivings” (Season 5, 1998).This episode from F.R.I.E.N.D.S is also known as the “flashback” episode because we see everybody sitting around the apartment competing to see who had the WORST thanksgiving ever. Chandler was the undefeated champion because his thanksgiving consisted of him finding out his parents were divorcing and “More turkey, Mr. Chandler?”. The episode suddenly takes an emotional turn when we find out that Chandler fat shamed Monica years before. It takes a funny turn again when Monica cut off Chandler’s toe while trying to impress him. It takes an emotional turn again when Chandler confesses his love for Monica when she is dancing around with a turkey on her head. Hahaha, I consider this episode to be not only the best thanksgiving special but also the best F.R.I.E.N.D.S episode.

Vikram – The Indian MCU We Were Waiting For? Ahhh! Yes. Vikram! Now, this is a blog I’ve been looking forward to writing since I watched this masterpiece of a film. Honestly, I was blown away. I must admit, I walked into the theatre expecting a mediocre action film where guns did most of the storytelling. But what I got was so much more than that. Emotional storylines, mysteries, societal messages and twist and turns that left you hanging on to your seats. This film had it all. Me and my mom couldn’t take away our eyes from the screen even once. I’m sorry if you came into this blog expecting criticisms or in-depth analyzations.
