The geniuses of female writers who are popular to this day~

The Geniuses of female writers that are popular to this day♀

Let me tell you a fact. J.K Rowling’s real name is Joanne Rowling. The genius behind the magical franchise of Harry Potter was forced to change her name to imply that she was a man because her manuscript was rejected by 12 publishers mainly because she was a woman. This happened in the 1990s. Imagine what it must have been for the female writers in the 1800s. Despite all the discrimination they went on to write classics that are celebrated to this day. Let’s see five of the most popular ones

    1. Pride and Prejudice

I can’t stress how much I admire the writing in this. The character of Mr Darcy is the most flawless male character I’ve ever seen. And the protagonist Elizabeth Bennet is a legendary strong female protagonist. This is the best piece of literature that goes deeper every time you turn its pages. The flaws of the protagonists are what makes their characters flawless.

     2. Jane Eyre

This evergreen novel was written by the legendary Charlotte Brontë of the Brontë Sisters. This is perceived to be the “relationship guide” to this day. The novel follows the life of Jane, a seemingly plain and simple girl as she battles through life's struggles. Jane has many obstacles in her life - her cruel and abusive Aunt Reed, the grim conditions at Lowood school, her love for Rochester and Rochester's marriage to Bertha.

     3.  Sense and Sensibility

Jane Austen is truly a visionary. She was able to personify feelings like pride, prejudice, sense and sensibility. Do you know any writer who has been able to personify characters, as well as Jane Austen, has? You can’t. Sense and Sensibility is personified through the characters of sisters, Elinor and Marianne belonging to an impoverished family.

     4. Little Women

The sheer amount of times this book has been adapted into movies speaks for itself. Little woman is truly a one-of-a-kind novel written by Louisa May Alcott which has everything from a kind and compassionate character in Meg and Beth, a realist in Amy, a ambitionist in Jo. Hence, it is the perfect novel, debate me.

     5.  Wuthering Heights

This is novel is not just a revolutionary novel but it is also a demonstrative poem. It is written by Emily Bronte. The writing is carried out in a beautiful poem’s format. It may be a bitter tragedy but it is the most realistic love story ever written. It is truly ahead of its time.
