 Hey guys, how you doin'?. 2020 was a great year..... wait in sense of music. Many new artists emerged and got the recognition they deserved and we started appreciating the real essence of music. We had great albums like folklore and total bops like dynamite💜 and watermelon sugar🍉. And Latin artists like Rosalía and bad bunny were praised for their untethering determination. Oh, and how can we forget the "Savage" Megan Thee Stallion and Dababy and of course Dua Lipa and her popping album Future Nostalgia. First off here are some songs that are trending right now.

1. Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, known professionally as Megan Thee Stallion, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Originally from Houston, Texas, she first garnered attention when videos of her freestyling became popular on social media platforms such as Instagram. Let me just say I see a queen on the rise and you should totally listen to Savage and the infamous WAP by her.



2. Lil Nas X

Montero Lamar Hill, known by his stage name Lil Nas X, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and internet personality. He first gained popularity when he released his bop Old Town Road and he is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. Keep shining.



3. Rosalía

Rosalia Vila Tobella, known mononymously as Rosalía, is a Spanish singer-songwriter from Barcelona. Rosalía’s international rise in 2019 has been nothing less than spectacular. The video for her collaboration with J Balvin, “Con Altura,” was the world’s second most-watched video on YouTube, and garnered 151.6 million streams in the U.S. alone, according to Nielsen Music.


4. DaBaby

Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, better known as DaBaby, is an American rapper. After releasing several mixtapes between 2014 and 2018, DaBaby rose to mainstream prominence in 2019. His debut studio album Baby on Baby peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200, while his second studio album, Kirk, debuted at number one. Just listen to his song called "Rockstar" and you'll know why he's on the list.


5. Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa is an English singer and songwriter. After working as a model, she signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2014 and released her eponymous debut album in 2017. Seriously she is becoming one of my favorite artists right now. Her album Future Nostalgia is the album that keeps on giving. you must listen to "Break my heart", "New Rules" and "Levitating".
