Hey guys how you doin? I know I'm late but I'm here. So I was just thinking like how time seems to go slow but it's actually going really fast. Like this decade we never knew when it started and when it ended right? And this decade was huge for music and I'm not exaggerating like many new artists showed up and they became the face of music and stuff like that. There were many artists but only some of them will be there in the long run. Their songs are just like opening the gates to heaven. We are going to dive into that today and see who made the top ten artists of the decade list. we made this list by using several official resources like Vevo and billboard, so it is going to be according to their rise to fame, their fanbase, and other factors. So let's go into that, shall we?

10.  The Weeknd
The Weeknd is a Canadian singer who is relatively new but his songs say another story. His popularity grew when he was mentioned by one of the greatest rappers, drake. His duet with pop star Ariana Grande, “Love me harder” reached the top 10 making him popular beyond his fan base. he has won 4 American music awards,9 billboard music awards, and 3 Grammys. His most famous albums are beauty behind the madness and starboy. I am sure that he is going to move to the top 5 spots next decade.



9. Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande is a pop artist who gained fame when she starred in the nickelodeon show victorious. Her debut album yours truly went no 1 on the charts. Her third album Dangerous Woman made her the first artist to have the lead singles from her first three albums debut in the top 10. She has won 3 American music awards, 2 Billboard awards, and 1 grammy. Her most famous albums are sweetener, dangerous woman, and thank u,next.


8. Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj is one of the most known female rappers of all-time, her first studio album Pink Friday made records, and her songs starships and super bass are still one of my favorite songs. she became the first solo female rapper to ever perform at the grammy awards. in 2016 she was included in the annual time 100 list of the world's most influential people. Her music video "Anaconda" has more than 1 billion views on youtube. she has won 6 American music awards, 4 billboard music awards and she is yet to win a grammy award. Her most known album is Pink Friday.


7. Rihanna
Rihanna is an awesome singer and businesswoman. She was first recognized by the American record producer Evan Rogers who invited her to the US to record some tapes. Her first two albums gained her recognition in the music industry and they peaked on the US Billboard 200 chart. Her third album Good Girl Gone Bad (2007) really marked her name in the industry. Its chart-topping single “umbrella” earned Rihanna her first Grammy and catapulted her to global stardom. With sales of over 250 million, Rihanna is one of the best-selling music artists of all time and she is the wealthiest female musician. She has 13 American music awards,13 Billboard awards, and 9 Grammys. Her most famous albums are anti and Good Girl Gone Bad.


6. Beyonce
Beyonce, the queen!!!. She is an American singer/actress. She rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of Destiny’s child, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Her debut album dangerously in love (2003) featured four Billboard Hot 100 top 5 songs including the number-one singles crazy in love featuring rapper Jay-Z and Baby Boy featuring singer-rapper Sean Paul. Her third album I Am…Sasha Fierce (2008) which earned a record-setting six grammy awards in 2010. It spawned us number-one single “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on  It). She has so many achievements that we can go on and on. She has American music awards,13 billboard awards and 23 Grammys. Her most famous album is I Am…Sasha Fierce.

Katy Perry is an American singer and an “American Idol”
judge. Perry rose to fame in 2008 with her second album One of the Boys containing the number 1 single “I Kissed a Girl” and “Hot n Cold”. The disco-influenced Teenage Dream (2010) spawned five chart-topping US Billboard Hot 100 singles- “California gurls”, “Teenage Dream”, “Firework”, “E.T”, and “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F). its follow up record Prism (2013) also had chart-topping singles “Roar” and “Dark Horse”. She became the first artist to have multiple videos reach one billion views on Vevo. She has 5 American music awards,5 billboard awards and she is yet to win a grammy. Chris Brown is an American singer-songwriter and actor. With his first single “Run It!” peaking atop the Billboard Hot 100, Brown became the first male artist since 1997 to have his debut single top the chart. Brown’s fourth album F.A.M.E (2011) became his first to top the Billboard 200 and earned him the Grammy award for Best R&B Album. His 9th studio album Indigo (2019) became his third Billboard 200  number one album. It included his biggest hit in years “No Guidance”.He has won 4 American Music Awards, 4 Billboard Music Awards, and one grammy award. His most famous albums are Indigo and F.A.M.E.

Credited with popularizing hip hop in Middle America, Eminem's global success and acclaimed works are widely regarded as having broken racial barriers for the acceptance of white rappers in popular music. his debut album Infinite (1996) and the extended play Slim Shady EP (1997)  achieved mainstream popularity in 1999.His next two releases The Marshall Mathers LP (2000) and The Eminem Show (2002) were worldwide successes and were both nominated for the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Finally, we love to see women in the top spot right?. She is awesome let me tell you.Taylor Swift  is an American singer-songwriter.
