Janmashtami special: Janmashtami through the eyes of a  teenager! Hey guys! Happy Janmashtami! Hope you all enjoy  this  auspicious festival with your family. Hold up. What is Janmashtami? Well, it is the festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna,  one of Vishnu’s many incarnations. Who is Krishna you ask? He is the “Fun” God. The most human God yet so serene people around him worshipped him and were playful with him. He wasn’t like the justice driven God Ram or like any of the other Vishnu incarnations.  He was the most playful, naughty and trouble-making god which made him one of my favorite folklores. There are many folklores and songs written about him making trouble like stealing butter or playing pranks on the villagers. He was one of the most artistic ones too. But if you are like me, you  probably can’t commit to just one hobby and keep on switching them. Trust me, I’ve done all sorts of things but most of them were useless and didn’t contribute anything to my personal growth. While recognizing the heroes of our country we often look over the children. They are the pride of our nation who are going to be the role model for the next generation. When disaster strikes, the whole country comes together to save each other. That is real patriotism. These children selflessly put others first and because of them many lives were saved. I mean you would think that a murder, exes and kidnapping would come between them, right? NO! it only made their friendship stronger. We could learn a thing or two from them.   6.
