Weird Ice cream flavours you should try
Hey guys, how you doin? Ice Cream has won hearts all over the world. I love this sweet treat so much I eat it almost every week, but during this lockdown im not able to sneak out and eat it with my friends. But then I realized I sticked to the common flavours like vanilla and chocolate and many others do too. My new year’s resolution is to be more adventurous so I made this list of unique and crazy but weird ice cream flavors which adventure lovers should try. So here we go do you dare?
I know
crazy right? Definitely a weird ice cream right. in honor of thanksgiving holiday, The Comfy Cow creamery
expands its candy-coated menu in the fall to include this confection. Its really
sweet nostalgia by the scoop.
Ooh spicy! I love it. Ghost pepper is really high on the spice level I wonder how it tastes in an ice cream . To achieve this truly strange and daring combination, the innovators at Mallard Ice Cream blended the intense kick of the world’s hottest chili pepper with the sweet, classic cool of homemade peppermint ice cream. This one is for spice lovers only! Indulge at your own risk.
8. Vanilla with Sweet Sriracha Sauce from Mason’s Creamery
A classic + weird flavor = awesome. Lets take a dare and eat this for new year. This (vegan!) ice cream is hot, hot, hot! Mason's Creamery offers many seasonal surprises on its rotating menu, but this spicy sriracha-flavored scoop is so popular that it’s available year-round. With its creamy heat and a drizzle of the sauce itself on top, you’re unlikely to find another scoop like it—well, maybe our favourite vegan homemade Ice Cream.
I love pickles and ice cream but what about them together? Looks like people love them. With a soft chestnut color that looks like caramel or peanut butter, this brine-spiked scoop is sure to surprise. The Dakota Drug Co. Soda fountain prides itself on being able to mix almost any flavor with its Whirl-a-Whip, a rare classic that blends basic ice cream with just about any add-in to create a unique treat every time. If you like ice cream that bites back, you’ll appreciate this salty sweet.
6. Lobster from Ben & Bill’s Chocolate Emporium
Oh yeah weird hit a whole new level. Lobsters in an ice cream? Oh.my.god . With its vanilla bean and butter base and lobster pulled fresh from the Atlantic (then cooked and chopped!), this ice cream steals the show at the Chocolate Emporium…despite the fact that it doesn’t contain any chocolate at all. Also cool: The candy-red flecks of lobster make for a gorgeous treat that’ll make Instagram followers freak!
5. Goat cheese beet swirl from Sweet Action Ice Cream in Denver
See I am not fond of goat cheese nor beetroot but i've heard it tastes really good together lets take a leap of faith shall we? The inspiration for this combo came from Samantha Kopicko's daily meal of a spinach, beet and goat cheese salad, which she decided to turn into a rich dessert. Well, almost — she skipped the spinach. Made with a goat cheese base and housemade beet syrup, it's earthy and creamy, and mixes sweet and savory flavors. "Luckily," says Kopicko, "it tastes nothing like that salad, but it does hit some of the same notes."
Pickled Mango is a summer eat and so is Ice Cream so blessing for me. You definitely have to try this out. As one of the country’s most decorated ice cream makers, Jeni Britton Bauer—proprietor of Ohio-based Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams—is constantly pushing the boundaries of unique treats, as evidenced by her lineup of limited edition flavors, including last summer's Pickled Mango (a cream cheese-based ice cream with a slightly spicy mango sauce made of white balsamic vinegar, white pepper, allspice, and clove) and this year's Goat Cheese With Red Cherries.
Let me tell you, this is one rare Ice cream. But many are not brave enough to try this insect Ice Cream. But there are many positive comments about this so might as well give it a shot. To create this crunchy treat, boiled cicadas (a type of insect) are covered in milk chocolate and dipped in brown sugar. They’re then mixed into a brown-sugar-and-butter-flavored ice cream. But the strange concoction is only available when the cicadas are around—once every 13 years when a new generation emerges from underground.
Do you love Korean food and you just happen to be in the mood for ice cream? We found the perfect flavor for you :) An ice cream shop in Portland collaborated with famous food vendors and came up with kimchi and rice ice cream, among others. This has a jasmine rice ice cream base, swirls of kimchi taffy and chocolate-coated bulgogi-kimchi truffles. It’s sweet, spicy and tangy and just downright weird.
hey guys! which was the weirdest ice cream for you? I thought that Cicada Ice Cream is the weirdest. Comment yours :D
